20 Minute Full Body Buddy Workout 

Want to switch up your typical gym routine? Find a friend, partner, sibling, or any favorite gym pal and have a bit of fun with this partner style workout! All you need is something to pass - like a medicine ball, playground ball, or pillow.  

 

Circuit:  

  • Squat to Ball Toss 

  • Partner Russian Twists - Right 

  • Pushup to Hive Five  

  • Partner Russian Twists – Left  

  • Sit up to Ball Pass  

Do each exercise for :45 seconds with :15 seconds of rest in between.  

Repeat circuit 3 times! 

 

Cardio Finisher: 

  • Person A: Complete 50 jumping jacks  

  • Person B: hold a plank until Person A finishes their reps  

Switch positions and repeat.  

Do the set four times, so that each person does two rounds of jumping jacks and two rounds of planks.  

 

Exercise Guide: 

  • Squat to Ball Toss: Start with person A holding the ball or pillow. Both people will squat at the same time and as you stand, person A with the ball or pillow will toss it across to person B. Got back and forth like this for entire length of the interval.  

  • Partner Russin twists: Sit back to back with your buddy with both of your knees bent. One person will start with the ball or pillow. Twist and move it across your own body to one side. Pass it off to your partner. Continue passing in the same direction for the length of the interval.  

  • Pushup to High Five: Both people will start in a plank position, knees or toes, facing each other. Push up at the same time, then high five the right hands together then left hands together for each repetition. 

  • Sit up to Ball Pass: Both people will start lying face up, knees bent and feet on the floor. Face away from each other so that the toes of your shoes are pointing at each other. Person A will start with the ball or pillow. Sit up together and pass the ball/pillow to person B. Lay back down together. Repeat!
