10 Gift Ideas for Fitness Lovers

As the holiday season ramps up, you might be looking for gift ideas for your friends and loved ones. If you have any fitness lovers in your life and aren’t sure what to give them, here are 10 ideas to get your started:

Resistance Bands

There are so many different types and styles of resistance bands out there, from cloth to loop bands to  bands with handles. Whichever version you get, I always suggest getting a pack that has a variety of different resistance levels. For loop bands, a cloth pair is definitely the way to go. It pinches less when you wear it and lasts longer! For resistance bands with handles, I prefer ones that have a singular set of handles that can clip on. These can be interchanged easily or mixed and matched for a variety of different levels.

Fitness Watch

Fitness watches are a great way to set goals and stay on track. I know mine keeps me motivated to keep moving throughout the day! They come in a variety of styles and options, but a classic Fitbit is always a great choice. If they already have a fitness watch, you can always get them the next level up or a new watch band in their favorite color.

Adjustable dumbbells

If you don't want to simply get someone a random pair of dumbbells, you might want to consider an adjustable dumbbell. It is a great option for space and variety, since the dumbbell can literally change weight by a simple click or turn. This way they have plenty of options and you don’t have to guess what they might be missing!

Bath Salts

After a tough workout, nothing feels better than a good bath. Adding Epsom salt to your bath has many benefits for the whole body. For post-workout purposes, it can help to relieve soreness, stress, and swelling to help you recover faster.

Wireless Ear Buds

Music is important when you work out for inspiration and motivation. For me, wireless ear buds are a game changer when you exercise. Get your friend or loved one their first wireless pair, or simply level up the ones they might already be using!

New Shoes

Solid, supportive shoes are one of the most important pieces for anyone that works out on a regular basis. If they already have a favorite type or brand of workout shoe – get them a new pair. And if you’re not sure what to get, a gift card to their favorite fitness footwear store is a great choice.

Gliders

These small discs may not look like much, but you can get a great full body workout just using gliders. Just like their name suggests, gliders will glide against the floor, so you can do all kinds of bodyweight exercises with them. Make sure to get a set that is double sided, with one side for hardwood floors, and the other side for carpet.

Clothing

If you’re not sure what kind of equipment to get someone, clothing is usually a safe bet. All clothes wear out, especially the ones you work out hard in! It’s always good to refresh with a new pair of leggings or a good workout shirt. And, of course, you can’t go wrong by representing your favorite brand or gym! (Hint, hint: we also have merch at burn30.net/store!)

Water Bottle

There are so many different types of water bottles out there. If you know your friend or loved one’s preferences, always go with that! But I like larger water bottles with good insulation. If they like a good protein shake after their workouts, go with a shaker water bottle. If they’re worried about space in their gym bag, there are great collapsible water bottles that are easier to tote around.

Jump Rope

Jump ropes aren’t just for kids! A jump rope is an easy, portable piece of equipment that can take any workout to the next level. If your friend or loved one already has a basic jump rope, you can always look into weighted jump ropes to spice it up!

Have a great holiday season everyone!
